ISABELLA FERGUSON

Isabella was born and raised in the historic Highlands of Scotland and moved to BC, Canada with her husband in 1974. They spent many happy years in Dawson Creek before moving twenty years ago to Campbell River on beautiful Vancouver Island.

Her own health challenges encouraged Isabella to learn more about alternative therapies and, with members of her meditation and healing circle, she studied Reiki and was attuned as a Usui Reiki Master in 1998. In addition, Isabella attained certificates in Reflexology, Magnified Healing, Traditional Japanese Reiki Techniques, Indian Head Massage, and Bach Flower Remedies.

Isabella has been a classroom teacher for over 30 years and quickly discovered that she had a calling, not only to share Reiki, but to teach others. She offers Reiki treatments and classes, Reflexology sessions and Bach Flower Remedy consultations in her healing practice.

Reflexology, the art of applying gentle pressure to the hands and feet to stimulate body reflexes, can be helpful with many conditions. Reflexology is a safe, non-invasive therapy that offers stress reduction, improved circulation and relaxation.

Bach Flower Remedies, flower essences gathered and prepared as in the founder Dr. Edward Bach's time, may not be familiar to many people. Bach Flower Remedies are suitable for both humans and animals and help to balance the emotions. Based on information gathered through a consultation or a questionnaire, clients receive a remedy for their individual needs. The remedies are a perfect complement to Reiki as they are safe and gentle.

Complementary therapies, and in particular Reiki, have connected Isabella with many wonderful people and given her the opportunity to try, in some small way, to pass on the light of love and hope in this world.
