MARI OKAZAKI

Mari is originally from Nagasaki, Japan, and resides in Chilliwack, BC, Canada. She is a full time Reiki practitioner/teacher and offers Reiki sessions in her home studio in Chilliwack and offers home visit in Vancouver to Hope area for people and animals on a daily basis since 2006.
As a mother of three, she uses Reiki as a home remedy and her family life has been filled with Reiki love.
She is the organizer and an interpreter for Jikiden Reiki North America region. She goes to Vancouver, Halifax and Seattle seminar with Mr. Tadao Yamaguchi, the founder of the Jikiden Reiki Institute as his interpreter and to support his seminar.
Since 2012, Mari has been offering reiki sessions at the Chilliwack Hospice Society as a Relaxation program volunteer for terminal care patients and their families. Through this experience, Mari finds that Reiki brings peace and calmness for the patients and family members who are experiencing a life transition. She is also a volunteer for a suicide bereavement group as a co-facilitator.
As a certified Jikiden Reiki Dai Shihan (senior teacher) with Jikiden Reiki Institute, Mari offers Shoden, Okuden and Shihankaku Reiki course according to the standards set out by Jikiden Reiki Institute and Canadian Reiki Association. Since she has been raised in Japan, she is able to explain Reiki history and cultural background in detail and deep, some experienced Reiki Masters came to her class and found it was helpful to gain deeper understanding of Reiki and its cultural back ground. Students receive a beautiful Traditional Japanese certificate as well as an English certificate upon completion of the course.
