In 2010 I became a Usui Reiki Master. In 2011 I had the privilege of attending a 7 day residential retreat in Upper New York to become certified as a Karuna ®Reiki Master with William Lee Rand, President/Founder of the International Centre of Reiki Training). In addition to William, Laurelle Shanti Gaia and her husband, Micheal Baird, (Senior Teachers, International Centre for Reiki Training/Peace Place founders/owners)provided us all with a soul level healing through their insightful instruction, laughter and techniques- including Reiki Drumming. 2011 marked another important milestone when I opened up a shared treatment space in downtown North Bay, ON with a Reflexologist. In 2012 I moved to Kingston, ON. 2012 I continued to expand my professional development by becoming certified as a Crystal Reiki Practitioner through Laurelle Shanti Gaia’s workshops held in Silver Bay, New York. I have been a Reiki Practitioner for 5 years and teaching Reiki since 2010. I have a private treatment space in my home a couple of evenings a week and most weekends in the afternoon. I am an Affiliate Member of the International Centre for Reiki Training and Registered Teacher with the Canadian Reiki Association. I frequently host and attend Reiki shares- so delightful! Starting April 9, 2014 I will be offering appointments for treatments bi-weekly out of Dr. Katherine Kilpatrick’s holistic health practice, Health for Life Medical Centre, 637 Princess Street, Kingston, ON. I have had a long romance with Reiki! I heard about Reiki over 25 years ago but it was not until 2008, through the beautiful synchronistic moments the universe provides, that I met an amazing Reiki practitioner/teacher who started my certification.
